At Speech Without Limits Therapy, we empower clients and caregivers through caregiver education, functional therapy, and love. Our goal is to ensure your progress, growth, and carryover through consistent 1:1 Speech/Language Therapy. As specialists in Early Language Development, Feeding Therapy, and Orofacial MyoFunctional Therapy, we are here to help you.
Alexandra Strachan M.S., CCC-SLP, OMT
Alexandra Strachan M.S., CCC-SLP, OMT is an accomplished Speech-Language Pathologist and OroFacial Myologist, holding licenses in the state of Florida and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). With extensive experience in both adult and pediatric settings, Alexandra has worked in diverse environments such as public schools, home health, nursing homes, and private practices.
Alexandra's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, which she obtained from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. Her commitment to professional growth is evident through her pursuit of specialized knowledge in various areas of speech therapy.
While Alexandra specializes in Feeding Disorders and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, she also possesses a wealth of experience in addressing other speech-related challenges, including Fluency, Articulation, Phonological, and Language disorders. In her practice, she integrates principles and techniques from her certifications in Orofacial Myology, PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), The Sensory-Motor approaches to Feeding Therapy, and Infant and Toddler Feeding.
Recognizing the importance of staying current with the latest research and techniques, Alexandra prioritizes incorporating updated findings into her parent training programs. Her dedication to continuing education has been acknowledged with an ASHA ACE award, further underscoring her commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care.
In addition to her professional achievements, Alexandra has been featured in local media outlets, including being featured in a local news publication and being invited as a guest on a chiropractic podcast to provide community education as it relates to Speech and Orofacial Myology.
